Two things I would improve: 1. An option to import external text file(s) - Im sure it is a critical feature for such application 2. The design is not bad, but old-fashioned. The icon is very nice

Could be better.

I tried to copy and paste in text both from a text based document and pages. Couldnt do it. Tried iTunes, and iWork share - nothing. Do you really expect me to type in a 3500 word speech by hand on my iPad? Get real. Why does this app only support basic text?

I TRIED SEVERAL TIMES TO RECORD AND I REPEATEDLY GOT AN ERROR MESSAGE SAYING THAT THE RECORDING FEATURE CANNOT OPEN!

I have used this app to scroll lyrics while playing a gig and it is well suited to this purpose except for one thing. The words scroll off of the page. Creating an option for the words to stop at the bottom of the page would make it a five star app. While playing a song sometimes the tempo is different or someone inserts an unexpected solo. It makes no sense in this case for the words to scroll off the page. If you could create a text command for the app to stop scrolling at the end, this app would be gold. Thanks

This app is great if you create documents on it but does not sync with Dropbox if you are using scripts youve created on your computer first. Other than that, it works just fine.

I have upgraded to 9.3 that may be the stumbling block here. Worked great, but now can not email notes, which makes it almost worthless to me. Information stored but cant get it out of app. Will have to slowly take info out of app in order to use it. Will be time consuming. Until that failure I loved this app.

I was thrilled with the product while I had the app open. When I closed the app and went back to it, the file was gone, and it was not saved. Nowhere on the instructions does it show how to save the document. I should be able to cut and paste from my notebook to the prompter and have it save the document, instead of having to cut and paste every time I go into the document.

But useless without saving and recording. The description says it has recording, but once you get inside it says you have to upgrade to record.

Not sure what these other reviewers are talking about. It has auto saved everything Ive put into it just like notes does. It froze once so, 4 stars instead of five. I had to completely close the app but when I restarted everything Id put in was still there. I am using the free version that clearly said recording came with the paid version - love being able to try things out first. Im using it on a VO gig today, hoping it doesnt crash. If it performs less than perfectly Ill let you know...

Like it but it lost files and lost my upgrade to the paid version. Contacted developer and will advise of their response. There is a bug in the save feature. It takes the title from the first line of the text. If the line is very long jus put a short title as the first line. Also hit the + before exiting and it seems to save.

Everything you could want from a free teleprompter. Simple to use and works like a charm. You can only sort by date or alphabetically, and the title is always the first line. But, still its kinda unbelievable to me that this is a free app. Its great!

I do not like it. Scum- needed to pay to work somehow.

I know its a TelePrompTer, but I use this as a fluency/reading app for my students. Works great!
